Project 365 for Year 2012
Happy New Year! :)
At first, I planned to document my daily outfit for the HeaRty’s Project 365 Tumblr blog. However, I thought I myself have started my own Project 365 already. Then why not just share that? I can start the daily outfit project on Year 2013 instead.
What’s this Project that I’m so determined to finish in 2012?
Well, when I was hospitalized last month, I have reflected. I realized I have been concentrating on the wrong things. I rarely prayed. I never called on the Lord. In fact, it came to the point that I believed that He is just make-believe. I’ve been longing for material things but I never walked the much-needed spiritual journey.
When I got sick, I felt God. He was there through the saints. My brothers and sisters in Christ were there for me. They visited me, brought me food, made me smile, accompanied me, offered help and most of all, I felt loved and not alone. I knew it was God assuring me that He is there. I was humbled. I felt ashamed that I have been neglecting God. So I said to myself, once I get out of the hospital, I’ll read His word and I’ll do my best to get to know Him better.
Initially, I was planning to just keep my journey with God by myself and some close friends. However, I felt why not share this journey with the world? God is so good and we should be proud of it! :)
For my One Year Bible Study, I have used the following as guide and reference:
- The One Year Chronological Bible Study Guide by http://www.oneyearbibleonline.com
- Life Application Study Bible - New International Version by Tyndale House Publishers, Inc and Zondervan
The notes for all 365 entries will come from the 2 resources above. I hope whatever I share can touch your heart like it touches mine.
God bless! :)
